This will be, eventually, an extensive set of pages reflecting my interest in coin collecting. Mostly, I collect US coins, and of course I live in the US, so this will be predominantly about US coinage. But I'll also talk a bit about currency, world coins, and so forth.

I'm interested in telling the story of US coinage from a different perspective than I've generally seen elsewhere. And I'm also interested in getting some thoughts published on coin redesign -- which seems to be getting to be more in the public eye lately, with State Quarters, the Sacagawea dollar, and the clamor to put Ronald Reagan on a coin.

I'll not be adding to this in any particularly predicatable order. Right now, coin redesign is foremost in my mind, so I'll be trying to put up a few pages with thoughts and ideas on that. Hopefully, sooner rather than later. Other pages will come still later, and most of the real detail will probably never be finished -- this is most definitely an ongoing project for me.
